Business & Economic Development
As communities become stronger through financial empowerment and job placement, incubating and launching small businesses is the next step in transforming economic welfare. Small business growth creates additional jobs and the opportunity for intentional discipleship.
The Business Cohort
The Business Cohort (TBC) is a community of Kingdom-minded entrepreneurs across Dallas seeking to grow their businesses to the glory of God. Throughout the year, we offer a 2-Day Bootcamp and 10-Week Class for those seeking to learn and apply business 101 concepts to their day-to-day operations through Co. Starters' curriculum and mentorship. At the end of the 10-week class, the cohort concludes with a graduation celebration! Then, business owners return to their communities to continue cultivating economic and spiritual development in the city.
Graduates of The Business Cohort get access to additional workshops, gatherings, and the opportunity to apply for TBC+, a 9-month program that includes a grant, monthly meetings, and personal mentorship!
Want to learn more about joining the TBC community as a business owner or volunteering as a coach? Please email us at thebusinesscohort@watermarkcdc.org!
