Meet hannah pickle

Financial Catalyst Associate

I am native to Richardson, Texas and grew up with a desire for adventure. Usually, adventures took the form of stacks of books that I could barely haul home from the library, but I also got the opportunity to go on a mission trip to southern India as a ten-year-old. I’m not sure my little self made much of an impact on that trip, but it certainly made an impact on me. My view of the world opened up as I witnessed a multitude of cultural, socio-economic, and religious differences. God used that trip to begin whispering the question of how I would be Christ’s ambassador in the world.

As an adult searching for the answer to that question, I have ventured into many industries, honing various administrative and operational skillsets. I’ve worked with hugely diverse populations in every stage of life, from nannying newborns to becoming a Certified Dementia Practitioner with a hospice. Working with the Watermark CDC, though, I am more deployed than ever before. I love getting to connect with the stewards and volunteers in Financial Catalyst, but also working with the data, processes, and systems that will propel the initiative forward in the years to come.

Outside of work, I adore many things, including (but not limited to) spontaneous concerts, my pet birds, BTS, acrylic pours, young adult fantasy author Tamora Pierce, and macaroni & cheese. The most important thing about me, however, is the redeeming power of Jesus Christ in my life, which has given me freedom from the darkness of abuse, isolation, and addiction.
