“The Lord has managed to restore my fortunes.”

"Since my release from prison, I have learned so much! The one thing I knew upon release was that I wanted to serve the Lord. When I needed Him most (in prison) He never left me nor did He forsake me. He held on to me with His righteous right hand. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 6:33, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you." There is nothing in scripture that I have read that has not been true to its word.

I was blessed with the opportunity to participate in the Financial Catalyst class through Watermark CDC. It is only through Christ that this opportunity was presented to me. It is very true that every good and perfect gift is from the Father of lights. (Colossians 1) . Never before have I had the opportunity to go to a car dealership and purchase a vehicle with cash. There are so many complex feelings (all great) that words can not capture.

Through Financial Catalyst, I have also learned that my money is not my money - it is all the Lords. I am only called to be a good steward of it. Since then, I am wise as to what I spend it on. Proverbs 22:7 reads, “The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is a slave to the lender. “ I don't ever want to be any kind of slave to anyone or anything again, with the exception of being a slave for Christ.”

Through discipleship, Alfredo was gifted a book from his Ally called "Prepare" written by Ethan Pope to walkthrough to discuss as a small group. "We, as a group, would read chapters at home and then discuss what we read. I had never in my life seen things from this perspective, and it has rendered me to save all I can. I went and found a car that was far more than I could have ever asked for.

I am beyond thankful that through Watermark CDC the Lord has managed to restore my fortunes! May all the glory be to God! Thank You!"
